ABOUT US
Hi! We are the Movement Cave.
We are a husband-and-wife coaching team with thirty years of combined experience in the fitness industry. We founded The Movement Cave in 2020 to break free from working for gyms and studios and build our own dream of a family-led, community-serving business that reframes how our clients think about health, fitness and movement.
We hope you love it here.

Sian Milne
Co-Founder, Head of Group Coaching and Marketing
It started with a love affair with the outdoors. Sian spent her childhood in the mountains of North Wales, hiking, climbing, riding horses, and trail running. Her active youth led to a 15-year career as a professional stunt performer as a member of the British Stunt Register.
After retiring from performing at 35, Sian began the journey of recovery from multiple injuries, which led to the discovery of her overriding passion: helping everyday athletes enjoy their bodies more, move better, and mitigate injury risk through mobility and strength training.

Our Approach
We combine traditional and strength and flexibility training with FUNCTIONAL RANGE CONDITIONING®, a comprehensive joint training system based on scientific principles and research. The three pillars of our approach can be summarized as follows:
Mobility & Flexibility Development
We like to think of flexibility as the 'canvas' on which we get to paint our strength. All of our programs include a component of mobility and flexibility development to help you improve and control your range of motion while reducing chronic pain, stiffness, and the risk of injury.
Joint Resiliency & Strength
We place a heavy emphasis on absolute strength development.
Strength represents our fundamental capacity, our raw potential - the reservoir from which every movement, every physical endeavour draws.
Having high levels of raw strength makes everything else easier.
Body Control & Awareness
Learning how to connect and integrate is the key to a training practice that keeps you moving forward.
Our programs make your brain work as hard as your body, so you can enjoy the freedom and efficiency of a nervous system that understands how to connect the dots and respond.
